Sir,
With reference to your letter of the 24th May (13986/1921), I am directed by the Board of Trade to state for the information of Mr. Secretary Churchill that the Board of Trade agree that Mr. A.E. Petersen's property should be released if the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs can confirm the statement that a man born in Germany of Danish parents is not a German national.
